Announcing New Summer Offerings Starting this Memorial Day Weekend!

Summer is here, which means it’s time to get the kids out of the house! The Aquarium has you covered with plenty of new experiences.

  • Extended Summer Hours


    Starting May 28th, the Aquarium will be open DAILY from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The H-E-B Splash Park will also open DAILY from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. These hours will last until Labor Day.

  • New 4D Film


    *Premiering May 28th

    Don’t miss out on the opportunity to dive into an exciting adventure with Blu and Jewel as they must work together as they embark on a 4-D journey through Rio de Janeiro, finding courage, friendship, and love along the way. RIO: The 4-D Experience is now playing at the Whataburger 4D Theater and shows are included with Aquarium admission!

    *Premiering May 28th

    A new educational presentation, "Let's Talk Sharks," allows guests to learn more about the H-E-B Caribbean Sea exhibit, as well as our resident sandbar sharks that live there. “Let’s Talk Sharks” will be presented twice a day at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
