The Aquarium has implemented numerous initiatives in coordination with state and local officials to protect the health of our guests, staff, volunteers, and animals. Military discounts available with advance purchase of tickets at the following MWR/ITT offices: Fort Hood, Fort Sam Houston, Lackland Air Force Base, Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Naval Air Station Kingsville and Randolph Air Force Base

By entering, you consent to your voice and photography being used without compensation in any and all media and marketing materials, and you release the Texas State Aquarium from any liability of usage.
Strollers are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis. Single-capacity strollers are $5 while double-capacity strollers are $7.
Wheelchairs are available to be rented at no charge.
Outside food and drink are not permitted. A reusable water bottle is allowed.
Only service animals are permitted inside the Aquarium; no other animals are allowed.
The Texas State Aquarium is a member of the AZA Reciprocity program. Members of participating institutions will receive up to two admission tickets at the discounted rate. The discount is only available on-site and you must present a valid membership card and photo id in order to receive the discount. Please call before visiting to confirm your discount. Using state-of-the-art cameras, students will be able to visit the Aquarium from their classroom… even if the classroom is now the dining room table! Every class is designed to encourage students to discover and learn together and is aligned to both state (TEKS) and national educational standards (NGSS).
