Campers will join us at the Texas State Aquarium, where they will engage in a variety of activities that teach us all about animal conservation and protecting the environment! Whether it is cleaning up our local beach, building prosthetics for injured sea turtles, or crafting enrichment for dolphins, your learner is going to be walking away from SeaCamp as a young scientist & a “Deep Sea Defender”!
8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. daily
Learners will embark on a week-long adventure to discover what we can do every day to protect a variety of wildlife & their special habitats. Campers will learn how to be a “Conservation Warrior” by understanding the importance of artificial reefs, speaking with animal specialists, and getting in water snorkel experience with our Sandbar Sharks!
8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. daily
SeaCamp invites campers to dive into STEM careers at the Texas State Aquarium. This summer, we reimagined camp to provide behind-the-scenes experiences and animal encounters that will allow campers to practice the skills it takes to work at an Aquarium and conserve wildlife. They’ll even come eye-to-eye with some of our animal ambassadors! Conservation is a large focus here at our Aquarium, and our goal is that campers learn the value of the animals and the importance of protecting them.
