AquaTeen Academy is a Youth Volunteer Program for teens to explore the exciting opportunities in STEM. We are looking for rising 9th through 12th grade students who are interested in exploring careers in the STEM field. This summer program requires a commitment of 65 hours from June 3rd through August 9th.
AquaTeen Opportunities:
Guest Services– Greet and open doors for guests, serve as TSA mascot, complete guest surveys, and act as directional guides and sources of information for guests.
H-E-B Splash Park– Help with keeping the area clean, and kids safe and entertained.
Education– Learn about the habitats and animals at the Aquarium, assist visitors, and answer questions about the exhibits.
Workforce Development– Gain tools, resources, and experiences to succeed in STEM related careers.
Requirements:
Be a rising 9th – 12th grade student
Submit two letters of recommendation
Participate in an interview process
If accepted, complete the required training and meet schedule requirements
