Aquaventure is the perfect add-on to your visit!
Much like a scavenger hunt, you’ll embark on a self-guided journey around the Aquarium, answering questions like “How many times does a moon jelly pulse in a minute?” or “How long does it take for a shark to swim across the Caribbean Sea?” Some questions only take an observant eye, while others may take some number crunching.
This is a self-guided and self-paced experience for anyone that wants to take their visit at the Texas State Aquarium to new depths! To begin your Aquaventure, we will lend you the tools you need to further investigate what lies below the surface. After you collect your supplies, consult your questionnaire to get started and get to know our aquarium residents on a deeper level. Once you’ve completed your research, you’ll confirm your observations with one of our staff members and return your toolkit so we can pass it on to the next adventurer!
Will you Aquaventure alone or with a group of fellow scientists? Aquaventures can be done individually, as a family unit, or in groups of up to 10. Content has been curated to suite participants of all ages!
