Texas State Aquarium Once Again Earns 4-Star Rating from Charity Navigator

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – On Thursday, June 1, the Texas State Aquarium received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest most-utilized independent evaluator of charities and non-profit institutions. Charity Navigator scores all charities out of four stars, with a 4-star rating being the highest possible score. This year’s rating is the fourth consecutive 4-star Charity Navigator rating awarded to the Texas State Aquarium.

The Charity Navigator rating takes into account the financials and accountability & transparency of every charity and non-profit institution it rates. On its Financial metric, the Texas State Aquarium was rated 90.66 out of 100, with the report noting 79.1% of expenses is on programs, including exhibits and environmental education.

These scores averaged to an Overall Score & Rating of 91.30, placing the Texas State Aquarium as one of the most highly-rated aquariums on Charity Navigator.
