Texas State Aquarium to Celebrate Halloween with Two Spook-tacular Weekend Events

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The Texas State Aquarium will hold two Halloween-themed events this upcoming weekend to allow guests of all ages to celebrate the spookiest season of the year among the Aquarium’s immersive exhibits and exciting animal species.

On Friday, October 27, Sea You @ Costumes and Cocktails will be held after-hours in Caribbean Journey’s CITGO Skyline Venue from 7-11 p.m. The night promises to be full of “boos and scary dance moves” with signature cocktails, appetizers, a costume contest, a shark dive show, musical entertainment, and more. The following day on Saturday, October 28, families everywhere are invited to Green Halloween, where a number of Halloween-themed events are offered to guests with regular admission, and kids in costume get in free with a full-priced adult ticket. Activities held from 10 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. include a trick-or-treat text scavenger hunt, Halloween-themed animal enrichment, face-painting, costumed scuba divers, a “mad science” lab, a costume contest with prizes, and more. The Aquarium’s exhibits will also be adorned with some underwater Halloween decorations including in the new Caribbean Journey.
