Spring Break at the Texas State Aquarium

Ready for a Spring Break trip to the Aquarium? We’ve got your back with tips to help you plan ahead, from seeing our new 4D film Turtle Odyssey 4D and added animal presentations throughout the day!

  • Extended hours


    From March 9th to March 17th, the Aquarium is staying open for an additional hour, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., for guests to have an extra hour of fun! On Monday, March 18th we will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • New food offerings and mobile ordering


    The Pepsi Shoreline Grill will be offering new, elevated classics like griddle smashed burgers alongside fresh, healthy grain bowls, and more! Mobile ordering is available, so order ahead and skip the line!

  • New 4D Film


    Discover the unique traits and fascinating behaviors of one of Earth’s most ancient and majestic creatures: sea turtles. Join baby Bunji, an Australian green sea turtle, as she navigates the dangers of life at sea, growing into a thriving adult along the way. The remarkable reptile encounters sharks, octopus, whales and more on her beautiful journey thousands of miles through the depths of the oceans in Turtle Odyssey 4D.

    Our exclusive encounters offer you the incredible opportunity to go behind the scenes and experience our animals like never before. Experience the thrill of getting up close to six sandbar sharks or feed some of our amazing animal ambassadors... the choice is up to you!

  • H-E-B Splash Park


    The H-E-B Splash Park will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. *Water shuts off 15 minutes before closing.
