Online Voters Can Make the Texas State Aquarium the #1 Aquarium in the Country

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Texas State Aquarium has been nominated as a USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Award for Best Aquarium in North America, and online voters can help it reach the #1 spot.

Each person can vote once per day during the run of the contest. As of the Wednesday morning, the Aquarium was ranked #3.

The Aquarium, the largest in Texas, is one of 20 contenders vying for the top 10 spots, and is the only nominee from the Lone Star State. The 20 aquariums in the running are nearly all accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and were nominated by a panel of 10Best experts. According to USA Today, they “represent the best in North America for their high-quality exhibits and visitor interactions.”

Voting is open now and ends April 22 at 11 a.m. CST.  The public can cast their daily vote for the Texas State Aquarium at https://www.10best.com/awards/travel/best-aquarium-2019/texas-state-aquarium-corpus-christi-texas/. The top 10 aquariums will be announced Friday, May 3.
