Live Virtual Field Trip with Aquavision

All Flint Hills Resources Adopt-a-Schools teachers and students are invited to register for one of our exclusive free Live Virtual Field Trip events at the link below. Using state of the art cameras, students will be able to visit the Texas State Aquarium from their classroom… even if the classroom is now the dining room table!  During the virtual field trip, they will make observations and comparisons of the aquarium’s inhabitants and their adaptations for survival in their environments.

Each device (laptop, tablet, etc.) that will be connecting to the program must register separately.  Therefore, at-home students will need to register individually in order to connect.

All participants must register at least 24 hours in advance.  However we recommend registering early to secure your preferred date.

Please note the different times for different grade brackets.

Classroom Activities

Every activity is written to state science literacy standards to support science curriculum in the classroom. The Texas State Aquarium focuses on promoting STEM process skills including observation, data interpretation, and drawing conclusions about the natural world.
