Beach Ball is Back!

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX USA– Beach Ball is back at the Texas State Aquarium! Beach Ball 2021 will be hosted at the Texas State Aquarium on Friday, October 15, 2021, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
With limited seating we expect this to be a sold-out event, so mark your calendar now! Net proceeds from Beach Ball 2021 will support the Aquarium’s new Center for Wildlife Rescue, Recovery and Research (CWR). Through the Aquarium’s Wildlife Rescue program, best-in-class emergency veterinary care and rehabilitation services are provided to injured birds, sea turtles and marine mammals. Each year, hundreds of injured animals, including threatened and endangered species, are treated through the Wildlife Rescue program and released back into their natural habitat. During this year’s historic winter storm nearly 1,000 green sea turtles were admitted, rehabilitated, and released back into the Gulf, a record for this program.
In addition to live, bid board, and silent auctions, Beach Ball will feature a one-of-a-kind Dolphin presentation, exclusive animal encounters, dancing on the waterfront, gourmet food, exotic drinks, and much more! The event is co-chaired by Catherine Hilliard and Darcy Schroeder.
