CORPUS CHRISTI, TX –This Saturday, November 11, the Texas State Aquarium will provide 50 percent off admission for all active and retired military personnel to commemorate Veterans Day and thank servicemen and servicewomen everywhere for their service.

This specially-discounted price is available on-site with the presentation of a valid military or veterans ID card. With their discounted admission, veterans and military personnel can enjoy everything the Aquarium has to offer, including the new sights and sounds in Caribbean Journey and the animals of Gulf of Mexico, including Grace, the rehabilitated bald eagle.

“We are proud to count veterans among our guests, volunteers, employees, and our friends and family members,” said President and CEO Tom Schmid. “This Veterans Day discount is our own small way of saying thank you to our brave servicemen and servicewomen for their sacrifices and everything they’ve done for our country and our community.”

The Aquarium will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on November 11 and the discount will be offered to current and former military personnel throughout the day.
