Texas State Aquarium Announces Holiday Hours and Programming

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Texas State Aquarium has announced special holiday hours and programming during the upcoming Holiday season.

From Monday, November 22 through Wednesday, November 24, the Aquarium will be open from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., closed on Thursday, November 25 (Thanksgiving Day), and will reopen on Friday, November 26 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The Aquarium also announced the dates for its annual maintenance week and will be closed for five days starting Monday, November 29 through Friday, December 3. The Aquarium will reopen on Saturday, December 4, and will resume its normal business hours, Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

During this holiday season, the Aquarium will bring back special experiences to delight guests, including a Christmas favorite 4-D movie and scuba diving St. Nick – both included with admission or membership.

Beginning Friday, November 26th, the Whataburger 4-Dimension Theater will be showing the holiday film, “THE POLAR EXPRESS™ 4-D Experience®”, which will run until January 2, 2022. This immersive experience includes snow, wind, and scents to spread the holiday spirit.

Beginning Saturday, December 11 through December 24, Scuba St. Nick and his elf will dive into the H-E-B Caribbean Sea exhibit for a unique encounter and festive photo opportunity with guests. Scuba St. Nick will dive daily at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

The Aquarium will be open on December 24 (Christmas Eve) from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and closed all day on December 25 (Christmas Day).

The Aquarium will remain open during normal business hours for New Year’s Eve (December 31) and New Years Day (January 1).
