Spring Break at the Texas State Aquarium to Feature H.E.B Splash Park, Extended Hours

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Up-close animal encounters, 4D films, and a kid-friendly water playground are just some of the wild activities available at the Texas State Aquarium for Spring Break this March 9 – 17.

The Aquarium will extend its hours on March 9-17 to 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., providing an extra hour for Spring Break guests to catch a show in the Whataburger 4-Dimension Theater, have gallons of fun the H-E-B Splash Park, or get an unforgettable look at dolphins, otters, sharks, flamingos, coral reef fish, and other exciting species,

As always, these experiences, plus parking, will be included at no extra charge with guest admission.

For an additional fee, guests can also travel behind-the-scenes for an interactive encounter with the Aquarium’s creatures and see how its 460 species are cared for each day. Exclusive Encounter tours include the option to meet dolphins or some of the Aquarium’s other aquatic residents, including sharks and sea turtles.

On March 18, The H-E-B Splash Park will suspend operations until summer and the Aquarium will return to its regular hours of 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily. H-E-B Splash Park as well as Aquarium hours are subject to change without notice.
