“We are proud to welcome our local community and visitors from all over the state and beyond. Our visitors who support our evolving education and entertainment allow us to make these major contributions within our community,” said Texas State Aquarium CEO & President Jesse Gilbert. “Our future is bright. With an all-time record-breaking attendance of 625 thousand guests in 2021, we are encouraged to push for continued growth.”

The economic impact report was prepared by Impact DataSource, an Austin-based economic consulting and research firm.

Texas State Aquarium continues to add unique exhibits and experiences, including a new HEB Splash Park to come in 2023 and the completion of the Port of Corpus Christi Center for Wildlife Rescue.
