Texas State Aquarium to Reopen on Monday, July 8

July 7, 2024

Corpus Christi, TX – The Texas State Aquarium is pleased to announce that it will reopen to the public on Monday, July 8, 2024, after initial closure plans due to Hurricane Beryl.

Recent weather updates indicate that Hurricane Beryl’s forecast has shifted eastward since late last night. This trend has continued throughout the morning, and our area will not experience hurricane conditions or significant storm surge.

“We are relieved and excited to welcome our visitors back to the Aquarium,” said Jesse Gilbert, President and CEO at the Texas State Aquarium. “Our top priority has always been the safety of our guests, staff, and animals, and we are grateful that our city has been spared from the severe impacts of Hurricane Beryl.”

The Texas State Aquarium will resume normal operating hours starting Monday, July 8, 2024. For further updates, please visit our website www.texasstateaquarium.org or follow us on social media.
