We Need Your Help!

In July 2022, the Texas State Aquarium’s (TSA) Wildlife Rescue Center admitted 17 large loggerhead sea turtles. These sea turtles were found stranded on Port Aransas beaches and suffering weight loss and other health problems whose cause has not yet been determined. Some sea turtles were transferred to the Aquarium’s Rescue Center and others to the Aquarium’s main campus, where a temporary Tiger Dam Flood Control System was deployed. All sea turtles came from the Amos Rehabilitation Keep – ARK at UT Marine Science Institute (ARK). Please consider donating today to directly help treat and rehabilitate these animals.
