The Aquarium has activated its Emergency Operations Center, staffed by essential personnel including animal care specialists, water quality experts, and operations staff. These dedicated team members will remain onsite to ensure the safety and well-being of the over 300 species that call the Aquarium home and to maintain critical life support systems and habitats.
Additionally, the Aquarium’s Wildlife Response Operation Center (WROC) will be on standby to respond to any wildlife affected by the storm.
The Aquarium will assess weather and road conditions to determine reopening on Tuesday, July 9, pending access to North Beach.
