When you symbolically adopt an animal, you support the Aquarium’s mission to engage people with animals, inspire appreciation for our seas, and support wildlife conservation.
Choose to symbolically adopt an ocelot, river otter, dolphin, sea turtle, flamingo, or a ray. You will receive special benefits, such as:
- Animal plush (dependent on donation value)
- Personalized adoption certificate
- Glossy photo of the animal of your choice
- Bookmark featuring fun facts about your adopted animal
- Wildlife Rescue static cling car decal and sticker
- The joy of giving a gift that supports wildlife conservation

Dolphin
Bottlenose dolphins
are marine mammals
that live in tropical
and temperate oceans.
Flamingo
There are six species
of flamingos.
The Caribbean flamingo
is the most brightly colored
Ocelot
They can sleep up to
12-14 hours a day.
Turtle
Green sea turtles return
to the beach where
they were born to
lay their own eggs.

Local pick-up
If you live locally or plan on visiting Texas State Aquarium, we have a convenient pick-up option for you! Please plan for 24-48 hours from when you place your order to allow for our packaging time. Our office will call the number you provide to arrange a pick-up time.
