Outreach Program Fees

$25 - $50 each additional program

Fees are based on one classroom per program. All programs are 45 minutes to 1 hour in length. Additional travel fees will apply outside a 20-mile radius of the Texas State Aquarium.

Take a trip to the ocean and never leave your classroom! Examine shark teeth, sea turtle shells, corals, and more!

Enjoy an in-depth look at sea turtles, sharks, marine careers, or other topics through a PowerPoint presentation and biofacts.

This puppet show "tails" about pollution and how it affects ocean animals. Students will learn about conservation and how we help animals be recycling and putting trash in the trash can.

Introduce youngsters to the wonders of the sea with an engaging story time, a sea life sorting activity, a sea life craft activity, and ocean biofacts.

Help a hatchling sea turtle find its way to the sea. Students will meet a variety of sea creatures during this puppet show that teach Sea-leste the facts of life through their special adaptations.

Visit a jetty community and help the bumbling Shorelock Scales solve a mystery. During this skit, students will meet a wave, barnacle, stone crab, and sea urchin as they investigate the possibilities.

Examine some of the interesting items found on area beaches. Use classification skills to sort items into categories based on individual characteristics.
