CORPUS CHRISTI, TX -- The Texas State Aquarium is pleased to announce Jeff Griffin as its new Director of Marketing and Communications.

Griffin will drive marketing, media, brand and communications strategies for the largest aquarium in Texas as it welcomes an increasing number of guests to its newest experience, Caribbean Journey. Griffin, a partner in the Osprey, spent 13 seasons with the organization, the last ten as general manager. As an experienced owner-operator with a demonstrated history of success in the entertainment industry, Griffin was charged with leading the overall business operations of the organization focusing on fan entertainment, community involvement and financial viability.

“We are all excited to welcome Jeff and his wife Kara to Corpus Christi,” said Texas State Aquarium President & CEO Tom Schmid. “Jeff’s experience leading the Osprey, his enthusiasm for our mission, and his can-do attitude make him a perfect fit to lead our marketing and communications program here at the Texas State Aquarium.”
