Meet and greet our STEM Professional in Residence, Sam Meacham, cave explorer and biologist, and learn about his past and current discoveries while studying these hidden treasures. Â Sam will also share how indigenous populations have used this caves for hundreds of years.
Objectives
Student will:
- Engage with our STEM Professional in Residence Sam Meacham.
- Examine traditional and modern techniques used for locating geological features.
- Use STEM processes to compare and contrast the biological characteristics between caves and cenotes.
