From coral reefs, to an underwater cave, and out to the open ocean, the Caribbean Seas are complex ecosystems full of life and wonder. Join us and discover what makes these habitats so fragile, and what you can do to help protect them.

Objectives

Student will:

  • Use STEM processes to explain the biological and geological differences among the Blue Hole, Coral Reef, and Caribbean Sea.
  • Analyze the different light zones found in the ocean.
  • Identify current conservation issues in the Caribbean and local practices used to help sustain them.
