Volunteer Opportunities
Become an Exhibit Guide in our STAR Volunteer program! Exhibit Guides interpret and answer questions about each ecosystem for our visitors from near and far.

You Are the Guiding Light!
No prior knowledge of our animals is needed, just a desire to learn about these important animals and their habitats. Minimum age to become an Exhibit Guide is 18, and we provide on-the-job training. TSA also has a guide partner program for young adults ages 11 to 13, who are paired with their parent or guardian as Exhibit Guide Partners. If you have any questions regarding our Guide Volunteers, please give us a call.

Dive!
Do you go under the sea often? Here is an opportunity to go down under in our exhibits, assisting Staff Divers during feeding shows, exhibit cleaning, demonstrations, and safety spotting other divers.

Minimum requirements to become a TSA Volunteer Diver include being a certified scuba diver, at least 18 years of age, and have 5 logged open-water dives. Your most recent dive must be logged within 6 months of application date and a commitment of 4 hours a week for a minimum of 6 months is necessary. If this description fits like a glove, give us a call.

You Get Your Hands Wet
Want to feed the critters? Here's your opportunity to help the Animal Husbandry Staff care for the birds, sea turtles, and fishes! Volunteers will gain hands-on experience while they learn what it takes to keep the animals healthy. Shifts run the same 3-4 hour shifts as guides. A minimum commitment of 6 months is required. You must be at least 18 years old to qualify. Limited space and shifts are available. Aqua Teen Volunteer
