Texas State Aquarium Returns Rehabilitated Duck to Wild

TXAQ-rehab-logoCORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – On Friday, March 14, at 11:00 a.m., the Texas State Aquarium will be releasing a Mallard duck back to the wild. The duck was brought to the Aquarium’s Second Chances Wildlife Hospital in February after being picked up by Corpus Christi Animal Care Services. The duck was admitted with abrasions to the head and face, caused by a dog attack.

After receiving treatment for its injuries, the duck is now ready to be returned back to Lake View Park where it was found.
