Hawn Wild Flight Theater

The Hawn Wild Flight Theater represents the first phase of the Aquarium’s renovation and expansion for its Conservation Cove area. This new 300-seat open-air amphitheater is the site for the Aquarium’s new birds of prey show. Featuring a variety of trained birds, including hawks, owls, falcons and parrots, and other exotic small mammals, these highly entertaining and informative presentations will showcase various feathered species and deliver an inspiring and empowering message of wildlife conservation.

A number of small mammals will also be incorporated into the presentations including some exotic species, such as an African Serval (wild cat) or a rare Amazonian Tamandua (anteater). Such species facilitate that all-important personal connection between human and animals, and help demonstrate the global nature of environmental challenges with stories that mirror our local conservation issues.

Seeing these impressive animals up close, outside an enclosure, provides a compelling experience, one designed to encourage people to care about our indigenous wildlife.
