Tortuga Cay is the newest sanctuary for our sea turtles. All of our residents in Tortuga Cay came to the Aquarium’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Program with injuries that deemed them non-releasable. Here at the Aquarium, they serve as ambassadors for their species—you can see sea turtles up close and personal. Tortuga Cay is a natural lagoon-like habitat that allows visitors to view the sea turtles from above and below the water. Some of our rescued sea turtles have been around for 50 years—they’re looking forward to seeing you! |
