Food and Beverage Specialist
BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREEN REQUIRED
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist customers with food selections, and prepare food as requested.
Ring up sales and make correct change.
Maintain accountability for cash drawer.
Assist in keeping food service dining area clean and neat.
Assist with maintenance of inventory.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to operate electronic cash registers, inventory devices and money-counting equipment
Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with the general public and to provide a high standard of service
Ability to work evenings/weekends/holidays as required
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of education and experience which would likely produce the required knowledge, skills and abilities
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Food Handler's Permit
EQUIPMENT/MACHINERY/TOOLS USED:
Cash registers
Ovens
Standing refrigerators/freezers
Inventory devices
Walk-in freezer
Soft drink machines
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Most duties are performed in an open-air food service environment; however, all positions require the physical ability to lift, reach, push, pull, and to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, both in- and outdoors.
